Once we have the name correction, you will be able to register. As a reminder: Please wait until the name correction has been sent to ASWB before you register for the examination. It can take 24-48 additional business hours for the approval to reach our online system.
- If you have scheduled your appointment and have not received a cancellation notice from Pearson VUE, you should plan to test as scheduled. ASWB recommends that you confirm your appointment with Pearson VUE in advance to be sure of test center availability.
- If you receive(d) an email from Pearson VUE stating that your canceled appointment was rescheduled 30 days out at a “temporary placeholder test center,” please be advised that this is not a real appointment. You must reschedule your appointment at a date/time and location of your preference, depending on availability.
- Go to ASWB's page on the Pearson VUE website and sign in. Find your appointment at the temporary placeholder test center and change the date/time and location to an available test center of your choice. Because of the volume of candidates affected, we recommend that you take the first available appointment.
